The posts included announcements about upcoming events, reflections on his legislative service, and personal holiday greetings.

On April 1, 2026, Gaines invited constituents to attend a rally with Congressman Jim Jordan in Barrow County. He wrote: “Join us next Tuesday in Barrow County for a rally with Congressman Jim Jordan. Details below! While there’s no cost to attend, an RSVP is required for security—RSVP today at https://t.co/ktACXk7tNR https://t.co/HI4HhdeM1B”.

In another post dated April 3, 2026, Gaines reflected on his time at the state capitol as he prepares for a new role in Congress. He stated: “Just after 1 a.m., my final Sine Die under the Gold Dome — it’s been an incredible honor to serve our community, and I’m looking forward to doing the same in Congress. https://t.co/JGYsILjTkW”.

On April 4, 2026, Gaines shared a message marking Good Friday: “Hope everyone has had a blessed Good Friday, reflecting on the ultimate sacrifice that changed everything—and God’s love for us all”.

Gaines succeeded Trey Rhodes as representative of Georgia’s 120th House District following his election in 2023.
