The request, made by Athens Reporter, a media organization dedicated to providing comprehensive and accurate news coverage on local governmental affairs, seeks detailed information about all candidates running in the upcoming election.
The requested records include a list of all candidates with their first, middle, and last names. The office they are running for and its jurisdiction is also requested along with the party affiliation of each candidate.
Additionally, the Athens Reporter has asked for complete contact information for each candidate. This includes their address, phone number, and email address.

In light of our role in disseminating information to the public, we have also requested a fee waiver as a media professional.
