There were 333 Hispanic students enrolled in Elbert County school in the 2023-24 school year, 7.8% more than the previous year, according to reports from the Georgia Department of Education.

Data showed that Elbert County welcomed 2,881 students during the 2023-24 school year. Among them, Hispanic students comprised 11.6% of the student body to be the third most represented ethnicity in the county.

Among the four schools in Elbert County, Elbert County High School recorded the highest enrollment of Hispanic students in the 2023-24 school year, with a total of 120 students.

As of 2024, Georgia has an average student-to-teacher ratio of approximately 1:15, which is better than the national average of 1:16. The state has its best student-to-teacher ratio of 14:1 in pre-kindergarten and middle school grades, while high school has an average ratio of 17:1.
