East Jackson High School has received the Distinguished Breakout High School award from the Georgia Association of Secondary Principals (GASSP). The award is given to schools that show strong leadership, academic improvement, and new approaches that help students succeed.

Principal Dr. Matt Stratemeyer and Assistant Principal Jessi Wood accepted the honor at the recent GASSP Conference. According to the announcement, this recognition highlights East Jackson High School’s efforts in fostering a positive environment for learning and achievement.

“This honor celebrates schools that have demonstrated exceptional leadership, strong academic growth, and innovative practices that positively impact student success,” said GASSP representatives.

The award reflects ongoing initiatives at East Jackson High School aimed at supporting both students and staff in reaching their goals.
