East Jackson High School band earns top honors at Peach State competition

East Jackson High School’s band placed fifth among 20 bands at the Peach State competition held in Rome on Saturday. The group earned Superior Ratings in the categories of Drum Major, Percussion, and Band.

Courtney Cameron was awarded first place in Drum Major for Class AA. The Eagles also achieved second place in Band for Class AA and second place in Band for Division 1-2AA.
