Dirty Dancing in Concert coming to Athens’ Classic Center Theatre in February 2026

Lionsgate and GEA Live have announced that “Dirty Dancing in Concert” will be held at The Classic Center Theatre in Athens, Georgia, on February 10, 2026. The event is part of a world tour celebrating the film’s 38th anniversary and will visit more than 100 cities across Europe and North America.

Tickets for the Athens performance go on sale December 5 at 10:00 a.m. through ClassicCenter.com.

The concert experience includes a screening of the digitally remastered “Dirty Dancing” movie with live musical performances synchronized to the film. Attendees can also participate in an after-party featuring music from the soundtrack.

“Dirty Dancing,” released in 1987, was directed by Emile Ardolino and written by Eleanor Bergstein. The film starred Patrick Swayze and Jennifer Grey and became an international box office success with over $214 million in global revenue. Its soundtrack produced multi-platinum albums and won an Academy Award for Best Original Song.

Lionsgate Global Products & Experiences is responsible for developing live shows based on its entertainment properties. The division creates consumer engagement through stage productions, gaming integrations, merchandise collaborations, and theme park attractions worldwide.

GEA Live specializes in producing events based on well-known brands from various entertainment sectors. It works globally with partners such as Sony Music’s Masterworks Live division and major studios including Lionsgate.
