All coed adult softball games previously scheduled for Field 2 will be played on Field 1 instead, as Field 2 is under water, according to a June 1 announcement from the City of Athens. The B Division playoffs will also take place on Field 1, while the A Division playoffs are set for Field 3.

The change in location affects all teams and divisions that were originally assigned to play on Field 2. No additional information was provided regarding when Field 2 might become available again or if further schedule adjustments may be necessary.

The City of Athens manages municipal services including parks, facilities, and community programs as part of its responsibilities as a consolidated city-county government serving both Athens and Clarke County in Georgia, according to the official website.

In addition to recreational programming such as adult softball leagues, the city oversees historic preservation efforts through facilities like the restored Morton Theatre and provides unified public services across its jurisdiction, according to the official website.
