The facility operates for profit.

In that same period, the nursing home held an overall CMS rating of 4, exceeding Georgia’s state nursing home average of 2.7. CMS assigns these ratings by reviewing factors including health inspection outcomes, staffing, and the level of resident care provided.

The facility cared for an average of 63.3 residents daily with 72 available beds during the first quarter of 2026, the data shows. The nursing home is currently not affiliated with any hospital.

For the first quarter of 2026, the nursing home received no fines or penalties, according to CMS records.

U.S. Census Bureau estimates indicate America’s population of older adults is climbing while younger groups are shrinking. Between 2020 and 2024, the number of people aged 65 and older increased 13% while those under 18 dropped by 1.7%. The nation’s older adult population has expanded significantly over the past 100 years, rising from 4.9 million in 1920 to more than 61 million by 2024.

A 2021 analysis projects that nearly half of Americans in this age group, or about 28 million people, may need long-term services and supports. The analysis further estimates that more than one-third will likely require nursing home care at some stage.

“Living a long life is something that many of us want and could get,” said Jesse Slome, executive director of the American Association for Long-Term Care Insurance, an insurance education organization. “But when we live a long life, the chances of us needing long-term care increase exponentially. But when you need that type of care, there are limited options.”
