Country music artist Clint Black will perform at The Classic Center Theatre in Athens, Georgia, on February 26, 2026, as part of his Back On The Blacktop Tour. Tickets for the event will be available starting Friday, September 12, at noon.
Clint Black is recognized for his contributions as a singer, guitarist, and songwriter. He has sold over twenty million records and recorded twenty-two number one singles. His accolades include nearly two dozen gold and platinum awards, a GRAMMY Award, and honors from the Country Music Association (CMA), Academy of Country Music (ACM), and American Music Awards. Black is also a member of the Grand Ole Opry and has stars on both the Hollywood Walk of Fame and Nashville Walk of Fame. His musical style includes traditional country, honky-tonk, and Western swing.
“From the beginning, Black’s biggest influences were Waylon Jennings, Willie Nelson, and especially Merle Haggard, to whom his smooth baritone voice was initially compared.”
Black gained prominence as part of country music’s Class of 1989 with his debut album Killin’ Time producing five consecutive number one singles on Billboard’s Hot Country charts. In addition to his music career, he has acted in television shows and films such as Maverick and Anger Management. His talk show Talking in Circles is currently airing its fifth season on Circle TV; it received “Best Talk Show” recognition from Cynopsis Media’s Best of the Best and Rising Star Awards. This year he received the Poet’s Award at the ACM Honors.
The concert is promoted by Pepper Entertainment (PE), an independent promotions company established in Sioux Falls in 2006. Pepper Entertainment ranks among Pollstar Magazine’s Top 100 Worldwide Promoters at number 27 and was nominated for ACM Promoter of the Year in 2020.
