The following events are scheduled to take place in Athens Metro this month.

There were 20 registered sex offenders living in Oconee County as of the week ending Aug. 23, according to the Georgia Sex Offender Registry.

There was no change in the number of registered sex offenders living in Barrow County in July compared to the previous month, according to the Georgia Sex Offender Registry.

The Georgia Sex Offender Registry shows 82 registered sex offenders were living in Madison County as of the week ending Aug. 23.

According to the Registry, there were two more sex offenders living in Jackson County in July compared to the previous month, according to the Georgia Sex Offender Registry.

Jackson County is home to 184 sex offenders registered as of the week ending Aug. 23, according to the Georgia Sex Offender Registry.
