They also headlined opening night at the Professional Bull Riders Last Cowboy Standing event in Colorado. The band’s influence has been recognized in songs by Dierks Bentley and Koe Wetzel, tributes such as the album “The Years: A MusicFest Tribute to Cody Canada,” and references in Stephen King novels.
Turnpike Troubadours have built a large following since their debut in 2005. Their career includes over 2.2 billion streams globally and more than 1.7 million equivalent units sold. They have released seven studio albums and appeared on Paramount’s television series Yellowstone. Their latest album, “The Price of Admission,” debuted at number one on iTunes’ all-genre and country charts and achieved high rankings on Spotify charts.
Rolling Stone described the new album by Turnpike Troubadours as follows: “The Price of Admission serves as a reminder that Turnpike is still the genre’s torchbearer…The band is at its lyrical and musical peak across the board.” Whiskey Riff commented: “Turnpike Troubadours have continued to prove time and time again that they are the greatest band of all time.”
