At 1 p.m. on Tuesday, March 10, the Presbyterian Blue Hose, featuring former Jefferson High School standout Audrey Burton, were defeated 4-1 by the Western Carolina Catamounts in NCAA Division I softball.
Catamount Softball Complex hosted the matchup, marking the teams’ first contest of the season.
Burton notched two hits in three trips to the plate.
The Blue Hose are scheduled to face the Catamounts again at Catamount Softball Complex on Tuesday, March 10, at 3 p.m.
