Athens Transit schedules public meetings for proposed service change feedback

Athens Transit has announced a series of informational sessions to discuss a proposed service change. The sessions are scheduled to take place at various locations throughout Clarke County in November.

The in-person sessions will be held on the following dates and locations: November 10th from 10 AM to 12 PM at the ACC Extension Office in Bogart; November 12th from 2–4 PM at the Athens-Clarke County Public Library, Room B; November 13th from 3–5 PM at the Multimodal Transportation Center; and November 14th from 5–7 PM at Fire Station #7. Additionally, there will be a virtual session on November 14th from 1–4 PM for those who prefer to participate online.

Athens Transit is encouraging community members to attend these meetings to learn more about the proposed changes and provide their feedback. More information can be found on the official website at https://www.accgov.com/transit.
