Athens Creative Theatre is inviting community members to audition for its upcoming production of “One Man, Two Guvnors” by Richard Bean. Auditions will be held on Thursday, January 15 and Friday, January 16 from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Quinn Hall at Memorial Park. The performances are scheduled for March 26–28 at the same venue.
“One Man, Two Guvnors” is described as a fast-paced farce set in 1960s Brighton, England. The story centers on Francis Henshall, a skiffle musician who finds himself working for two employers without either knowing about the other. The play promises physical comedy and live music as part of its adaptation of Goldoni’s Servant of Two Masters.
Those interested in auditioning should contact Athens Creative Theatre by calling 706-613-3628 or emailing act@accgov.com to schedule an appointment.
