The department can be reached at 706-613-3540 or www.accgov.com/animalservices for more information.

Leisure Services reports that parks will be open from 11:00 AM to 5:00 PM on Monday, October 13. Sandy Creek Park is closed on Mondays and will remain closed that day. Other facilities including Sandy Creek Nature Center, Lyndon House Arts Center, and all community centers will also be closed on the holiday. All parks and facilities are set to reopen with regular hours on Tuesday, October 14. Additional details are available at 706-613-3800 or www.accgov.com/leisure.

All other commercial curbside services—including roll cart, recycling, trash, and compost—will also be delayed by one day.

Leaf & limb collection is set to begin Tuesday, October 14 through Friday, October 17 with a one-day delay. The service is expected to finish Area A and begin Area B; however, this may change based on collections from the previous week. Updates are posted at www.accgov.com/leaflimb.
