The third annual Athens Area Honey Bee Festival will be held on Saturday, May 30 from 9:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. at the Athens-Clarke County Extension Office located at 275 Cleveland Road.

The event is free and open to the public, offering activities for families and individuals interested in honey bees and local agriculture. Organizers say visitors can expect honey tastings, kids activities, face painting, plants for sale, bee hive explorations, and more.

The festival aims to provide educational opportunities about honey bees while also serving as a community gathering.
