On December 31, 2022, at approximately 3:00AM, the Athens-Clarke County Police Department responded to the 1500 block of Lexington Road in reference to discharging firearms. While on scene, officers were informed that a 22-year-old female arrived at a local hospital with a non-life-threatening gunshot wound. Initial information indicates that the individual’s injury is related to the discharging firearms call on Lexington Road.
