At a Swearing-In Ceremony today, ACCPD Chief of Police Jerry Saulters welcomed back former ACCPD Captain Willie Brinkley. 

Saulters appointed Willie Brinkley to the vacant Deputy Chief position. Deputy Chief Brinkley spent 24 years with the ACCPD and achieved the rank of Captain prior to serving as Chief of Police in Social Circle. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice from the University of Phoenix, is a graduate of the Georgia Command College through Columbus State University, and is a graduate of the esteemed Southern Police Institute. Locally, he is a deacon at Billups Grove Baptist Church. 

Welcome home Deputy Chief Brinkley.
