The Bear Hollow Zoo at Memorial Park located at 293 Gran Ellen Dr. will temporarily close for necessary tree removal. The decision to close the zoo was made in preparation for essential maintenance work.

According to zoo officials, work will begin on Monday, March 11, with two tree felling operations. The closure will start on Tuesday, March 12, and work will continue through Wednesday, March 13. The zoo will remain closed until the tree removal is completed. Operations are expected to return to normal on Thursday, March 14.

In a statement, the zoo management mentioned, "Work will continue on Wednesday, March 13 and the Zoo will remain closed until this tree is removed. We anticipate regular operations will resume on Thursday, March 14."
